Parents and caregivers can learn more about how to keep their child safe when traveling in a vehicle. Attend a BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation supported car seat check.
At the child car seat checks, certified child passenger safety educators spend approximately 20-minutes in a one on one session with parents showing them the proper installation and use pertaining to their child’s car seat stage and answering questions.
In B.C. all drivers are responsible for transporting all children in secure age and weight-appropriate child car seats until their 9th birthday or 4’ 9” in height.
If you are unable to attend the session in your area, or would like more information, visit www.childseatinfo.ca or call 1-877-247-5551 to speak with a certified Child Passenger Safety Educator.
