Learn more about how to keep your child safe when traveling in a vehicle. Attend a BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation supported car seat check or new parent workshop.
The educational workshops are 1-2 hours and are designed to help expecting parents and parents of newborns become more familiar with the correct use and installation of infant car seats. Participants learn about child seat laws; how to disassemble & reassemble their infant seat; how to harness the child properly; and how to correctly use and install the seat in their vehicle.
Workshop participation is by donation and pre-registration is required.
Participants should bring their car seat, a doll or teddy bear to fit in seat, 2 receiving blankets, the car seat instruction manual, and the vehicle owner’s manual.
There is limited time during the workshop to consult one to one with an instructor and have your car seat installation checked.
