New Parent Workshop - Victoria

Parents and caregivers can learn more about how to keep their child safe when traveling in a vehicle.  Attend a BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation supported new parent workshop.

The 1-2 hour educational workshops help expecting parents and parents of newborns become more familiar with the correct use and installation of infant car seats.  Participants learn about child seat laws; how to disassemble & reassemble their infant seat; how to harness the child properly; and how to correctly use and install the seat in their vehicle.

In B.C. all drivers are responsible for transporting all children in secure age and weight-appropriate child car seats until their 9th birthday or 4’ 9” in height.

If you are unable to attend the session in your area, or would like more information, visit www.childseatinfo.ca or call 1-877-247-5551 to speak with a certified Child Passenger Safety Educator.
