B.C.'s Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) has issued Bulletin 4-09 concerning vehicles that have been written off as salvage and subsequently repaired. There vehicles require a structural integrity inspection by a qualified auto body technician before they may be relicensed and used on our highways. Some vehicles imported from out of province are being presented with structural integrity inspections issued by facilities outside of BC. These reports will not be considered valid as the inspection must be completed to B.C.'s standards by a B.C. designated inspection facility.
