Australia has always seemed to me to be on the cutting edge of aggressive, no nonsense road safety programs aimed directly at reducing death and injury on their highways. Canada's Road Safety Vision 2010 seems pale by comparison and we would likely benefit by implementing programs similar to Australia's. This document outlines the national action plan for 2009 and 2010. It also contains a large number of interesting links at the end that are worth browsing through.
