HASTe - Active & Safe Routes to School
HASTe is British Columbia’s leading active and safe routes to school programmer and resource centre. We are the Hub for Active School Travel (HASTe) and work with communities and partners across the province to connect kids, schools and communities through walking and cycling.
HASTe hosts an Active and Safe Routes to School toolkit:
The Toolkit is an online resource made up of nine interventions, each of which is designed to help schools encourage more active (walking, biking, etc.) trips to school. An overview of the Toolkit, what it contains and what it aims to accomplish are included below. To determine which Active and Safe Routes to School intervention is best suited to your school, you can read through the first (WHAT) section of each one, try our decision tree, or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
