Q&A ImageGood morning!  I have another question from a Four Wheel Drive Association member:

Q&A - Qualifying as an LSM

Q&A ImageFrom ICBC's site:

Limited-speed motorcycle definition

Q&A - Would I Be At Fault? Wrong Way Cyclist

Q&A ImageI was in a situation that could have been very ugly. I was waiting to turn right at an uncontrolled intersection. I was waiting for traffic to clear from the lane that I was about to turn into.

Q&A - Hung Up in the Right Turn Lane

Q&A ImageOften, if heading north when I am on Bowen Road I will make a left turn at the Co-op bar (just above the Toyota and other car dealerships), I then turn right onto Shenton Road and run parallel to the old Island Highway until I pass Steve Marshall Ford where I use the right hand turn lane to join the traffic on Jingle Pot road and move over a lane to be able to turn left at the traffic lights onto the Old Island Hwy, heading north

Q&A - First Ticket

New Driver Signs 2011A few days ago, I have just received my first Novice License and had retained my L for a year without any issue or ticket. Today, I have driven up Burnaby mountain, and down for the first time and was ticketed out a speeding at 92km/hour in a 60km/hour zone.

Q&A - Accident or ??

Q&A ImageAm I the only one who has been intrigued by the Law Firms who post advertisements seeking witnesses to "accidents"?

It would seem that, by that terminology, they have just weakened their client's case by admitting that it was "accidental".  Should that determination not be made by the Court?

Q&A - Driving With the Windshield Folded Down

Q&A ImageI was looking for anything on the legality of driving a Jeep with the windshield folded down but it seems the subject has never been brought up. It's being discussed on Facebook on the 4WDR Association of BC's page.

Q&A - Ticketed for Non-Operational Cell Phone

Q&A ImageI was pulled over recently for the use of electronic devices. The cell phone is damaged and was not operational but I still got a ticket. I needed a help how I can dispute the ticket.

Q&A - City of Surrey Parking Rules

no parking signI was just wondering about parking rules, as my family and any visitors to my home have been hassled by city parking enforcement about parking too close to an intersection. A family member and a caretaker of my grandmother would have been ticketed so far if they had not run out to speak to the officers.

Q&A - Non-Standard Rearview Mirror

New Driver Signs 2011I am currently driving while using a clip-on wide rear-view mirror and was wondering if it's use is allowed during the Class 5 driving test.

It is a 20cmx6cm rectangular flat mirror that goes over the existing one in the car.
