Impaired Driving

A collaboration between the Traffic Injury Research Foundation and State Farm Canada has produced the Drug Impaired Driving Learning Center. This web based resource is a summary of the latest research about drug-impaired driving in several key areas:

drug-impaired driving problem in terms of magnitude, characteristics and perceptions;
impairing effects of drugs on driving;
laws and penalties;
tools and technologies to identify drug-impaired drivers;

Each of these modules contains a list of questions as well as a glossary to define technical terms that are used. A list of research references that support the findings that are shared in each module is also included.
