Should Bad Drivers be Shamed Publicly?
Deliberately bad drivers seem to be appearing more and more often on our highways. If e-mail to the DriveSmartBC web site is any indication, other drivers are no longer shrugging it off and report offenders in the hope that they will be held accountable. Question: I live in Applegreen apartments in Richmond. I own a 2001 Dodge ram Diesel truck. I just got a letter complaining about my truck being too noisy. It is louder than a gasoline engine but has no modifications done to it whatsoever.
I have a 49cc gas scooter. Its top speed is only 50kph, so I try to stay in the bicycle lane if traffic is heavy. I have searched drivesafebc.ca and ICBC but cannot find articles on whether this is legal.
