There will be highs, there will be lows, but they would always be the same. Until 1957 anyway. Although this is a video from the US, Canadian standards are virtually (if not) identical. Take a trip down headlight memory lane and find out just a little bit about today's systems as well.
That takes me back a few years. Up until 1984 vehicles in BC had to go through mechanical testing every year (every six months for commercial vehicles including driving school cars). About a block from the Burnaby test centre there was a gas station on the corner advertising headlight alignment, (plus they had hoists and real mechanics that could fix anything else). That place was busy every hour they were open!
