Q: I was served 2 violation tickets. I’d like an inquiry about what I’d be looking forward to in court. I was served one count of excessive speed MVA 148(1), prohibited use of HOV, and fail to display ‘N’ sign. Also gave me a charge of operating MV with Cannabis in vehicle. Prior to that I was an N class driver with 30 months clean driving, I had not went for a class 5 test due to preoccupations.
Is it legal to back out of a driveway across a lane of traffic?  I thought this wasn't legal but I can't find anything in the MVA.
I've looked at the regs for brakes on trailers, but I'm not sure how it would apply to flat towing a vehicle. My '92 Jeep weighs in around 3,000 lbs (spec curb weight is ‎2,855–3,241 lb (1,295–1,470 kg)). We'd be pulling it with a 2015 Yukon 4WD (rated towing weight 8200 lb/ 3719 kg, curb weight 5707 lb / 2588 kg).
The regs say:
I met a new Canadian yesterday, in his large car, and the visor was SO low that there is only (what looked to be, I didn't go over and measure) like 2 feet from the hood to the bottom of the visor. I understand the benefits of a drop visor, but this is taking an aftermarket improvement, to the absolute extreme.
I was thinking of getting a stubby bumper for my Jeep and the MVA says:
"...and where a replacement bumper has been installed, it shall give substantially the same protection as the original bumper."
I went to traffic court and officer asked for an adjournment due to fact he had not complied with my request for disclosure. My question is do I have to request for disclosure again or is it the officer's responsibility to give it to me now?
I think the issue was he was working for different jurisdictions at that time so there was some clerical error.

A topic came up in local Reddit forum today, with an equal split of opinions, both sides being adamant that their approach is correct. When making left turns across a median, is it the red line that drivers should take or the blue one as shown in this image of Cambie Street and West 64th Avenue in Vancouver?

Question: I managed to stumble upon this website after I had an encounter with road rage. The driver of the vehicle involved drove dangerously, passing me on a double solid line in a 30 km/h playground zone.
I received a speeding ticket. which I was shocked as I didn't think I was speeding.  When I looked at the ticket closely, I noticed the date of Feb 30th instead of Feb 20th.
