Transport Canada LogoBeginning this month, all passenger cars, multi-purpose vehicles, trucks and buses with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 4536 kg or less manufactured in Canada will have to be equipped with Electronic Stability Control (ESC). Designed to help you regain control of your vehicle when the direction of travel does not match your steering input, ESC will selectively brake one or more wheels, reduce the power applied to your wheels or both at the same time.
