I was walking to my vehicle after work yesterday and watched the woman on the sidewalk ahead of me approach the intersection. She did not hesitate to step into the crosswalk even though a vehicle on her left had stopped halfway across it waiting to enter traffic. The driver was watching intently to her left waiting for a gap in traffic. The pedestrian checked her stride and I thought that she was going to wait for the driver to notice her before she crossed in front of the vehicle.

I was driving my parents car a few days ago it is a Mustang and I got it impounded for 7 days for stunting. The police officer accused me of doing a burnout, revving the engine and fishtailing.

My question is what should a person do if they are the passenger in the front seat of a vehicle and the driver has a heart attack, becomes unconscious or for some reason loses control of the vehicle?

My father, who just turned 80, is undergoing a mandatory drivers' exam next month. He did not pass the previous one, largely due to his inability to shoulder check, according to the score sheet he was given.

As humans, we are predominantly right handed. In North America we drive on the right side, tend to walk on the right side and I suspect that this right side bias carries over into many other areas that we are not even aware of.

Is it within the Motor Vehicle Act to enter an intersection on a yellow light with the intent to turn left only if you stop first before entering the intersection?

Same question except you don't stop before you enter the intersection.

I have a 2012 polaris ranger it has front head lights, brake and driving lights. I have 3 point seat belts full roll cage and steel doors. Can I insure this and drive it on public roads?

There are many different types of vehicle manufactured today in many different models and colours with a host of accessories to make your ride just right for you. For some of us, this just isn't enough and we want to modify our vehicles to suit our personalities and desires. Some of these vehicle modifications are unique and permitted by law, but some are unsafe and will put you in conflict with vehicle safety rules.

Question: I live on rural road in northern BC. Many vehicles speed along this road even though the time they save in reaching the main highway will only amount to a minute or two. The RCMP presence on this road is effectively non-existent. If I could document the speeding vehicles then I could perhaps persuade the RCMP to exert some presence on the road.
