Q&A - Red Light Camera Served to Dealership
I work at a used car dealership (not the owner) doing administration. One of the dealership vehicles was on a test drive (with D plate in a bag with a plate bag pouch) and the test driver drove through a red light up the street and the red light camera took a picture. Someone from court sevices just came by and served the car dealership with a ticket as the demonstration plate belongs to the dealership.

Question: I was recently issued a ticket and the officer failed to return my insurance papers (I'll assume accidentally), I only noticed this the next day. I tried contacting RCMP about this, and have been given the runaround, saying I have to contact the officer, but cannot because he is not on duty.
Question: One thing worse than what you described last week is when there is a road obstruction and people seem to think they have the right to cross the centre line into oncoming traffic. Maybe you could address the legal side of that. My understanding is that oncoming traffic has the right of way.
This is the story of a two vehicle collision that happened in the uncontrolled intersection of Jervis Street and Gordon Avenue in Port Coquitlam, B.C. Michelle Olchowy was travelling south on Jervis Street and Clifford Tomkulak was travelling east on Gordon Avenue. Ms. Olchowy entered the intersection within a second or fraction of a second of Mr. Tomkulak.
