I need to know how long a yellow traffic light at an intersection should stay yellow for? I realize that the posted speed has to be taken into account and if there are advanced flashing amber lights.
I was issued a speeding ticket a year ago for excessive speeding. I was found travelling 125km/h in an 80km/h zone. I disputed the ticket and last week was issued a court date. I requested disclosure from the officer. He stated as he is quite busy he would like to offer me 2 pleas.

Question: Can you please tell me if there is a standard or exact distance that residential speed signs should have between them? or how many per block there should be? Anything related to these sort of questions.
Question: Big trucks are allowed by law to swing wide if necessary in order to make a wide right turn at an intersection. If you don't heed the signal and pull along side you could be squeezed between the truck and the curb.
Is there a particular form required for a request for disclosure in a traffic matter? If not is there a particular format that must be used?
Mistakes is a campaign launched by the New Zealand Transport Agency that "encourages the audience to be conscious of other road users and to choose a safer speed that factors in the chance for human error." I fear that the current speed limit review here in British Columbia will be driven by "me" centered drivers who have little or no consideration for other road users. This campaign gives valid reasons to support careful consideration of other factors beyond better roads and better vehicles should result in higher speed limits.
I'm kind of in a dilemma here. I understand how HOV lanes work and that motorcycles are exempt for the 2 person or more rule. My issue is with the ones in towns rather than the highways. Some of the lanes are marked only with a bicycle (which i get are for them only), but most are marked with a bicycle AND a diamond.
I work at a used car dealership (not the owner) doing administration. One of the dealership vehicles was on a test drive (with D plate in a bag with a plate bag pouch) and the test driver drove through a red light up the street and the red light camera took a picture. Someone from court sevices just came by and served the car dealership with a ticket as the demonstration plate belongs to the dealership.
Question: I was recently issued a ticket and the officer failed to return my insurance papers (I'll assume accidentally), I only noticed this the next day. I tried contacting RCMP about this, and have been given the runaround, saying I have to contact the officer, but cannot because he is not on duty.
