Point to point speed enforcement involves monitoring motorist's average speeds over a highway segment and then prosecuting drivers whose average speed was too high for the posted speed limit over the segment. This is an automated enforcement method that uses automated number plate recognition and other technologies.

Hi there, I currently have an Alberta L, that is going to expire soon. I just moved to B.C and am planning on staying here for some schooling, and am wondering if I am allowed to take a British Columbia N drivers test without retaking my L? Or do I have to take my Alberta license and transfer it over?
This Supreme Court case from 2003 is useful to illustrate two topics: lane splitting by motorcyclists is illegal in BC and traffic court justices may prohibit drivers based on a bad driving record and have the prohibition upheld by the higher courts.
