Question: If an officer serves a traffic ticket to a driver and makes an error on that ticket, how are they required to serve an amended traffic ticket to the driver? Is there a requirement for the same proof of service as serving the original copy?

Canada Road Safety Week is an enforcement driven initiative led by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) Traffic Safety Committee. The campaign is held around the May long weekend and promotes the awareness of safe driving measures in order to save lives and reduce injuries on Canadian roads.
