Q&A - Excessive Speed and Vehicle Impound
My girlfriend used my car last night and was caught speeding. Besides the ticket, my vehicle was impounded for 7 days. I was out of province and returned today and now can't get to work. So... How is this my problem?
My car is insured, she has a license and was fined as well. She drove her car to pick me up.
She still allowed to drive but I can't?? This is absurd.

Question: I'm seeing so many cyclists riding on the wrong side of the road lately that I am starting to wonder if the law has changed. It might save a life or two if they got back on the right side of the road! I agree with him because I almost made a hood ornament out of a wrong way cyclist not long ago.
I was wondering when they put up new speed limit signs up, do they need to put the bright NEW tab under the changed speed limit posting? Should this tab be used for all changes on B.C.'s roads? It would help drivers notice the changes and avoid getting traffic tickets for making a mistake.
