I got a traffic ticket for not stopping at a red light. However, I believe that I entered the intersection before the signal turned to red. There was no camera to support this charge.
I did not stop because my car was accelarated, I believed stopping would cause a more dangerous situation. Also, it was difficult to make a clear judgement because the situation was urgent.
I got distracted by something and I only saw the red light late so I slammed the brakes and managed to stop the car, but the front tires entered the crosswalk. I'm sure that intersection has those camera; will I get a ticket for that? I totally came to a full stop but as I said, I kinda entered the crosswalk.
I am wondering about the rules for making vehicle modifications. There are many custom trucks and 4x4s of all sorts on the highway with big tires and lift kits. I would like to modify a vehicle by building custom control arms.
My driveway opens into a four lane street. To back into the driveway I shoulder check, when it is clear to do so I turn into the center lane from the curb lane and back into my driveway. Is this the proper way to enter my driveway? Someone told me this may be illegal. If so what is the best way to enter my driveway and are there any references to the ICBC website or driving book. Question: I often coast down a high hill in order to save on gas if there is no traffic behind me. I notice that there is a traffic offence called: "Coast down grade illegally" on the ICBC website with a fine of $121.00 and a 2 point assessment. Is what I do coasting down grade illegally and why would that be a problem?

I routinely drive in a certain Vancouver area. Tonight I was ticketed for turning right at a red light. I was told there is a new no-right-turn-at-red-light sign, that I think was just installed in the last day or two. The policeman said he was waiting there for people to violate that sign.

I was returning to Calgary from Seattle through Trans Canada 1 west of Golden. The road conditions were poor, with a few inches of fresh snow, and visibility was poor due to blowing snow. Traffic had slowed to around 50 km/h. I watched other drivers pass semis behind me which were moving at around 30 km/hm due to the extremely poor visibility from driving behind them.
