When should you use four way flashers while driving on the highway?

Question: I received a traffic ticket for not having entries for the previous two weeks in my log book. I explained to the officer that I did not normally drive trucks that required me to keep a log book and he wrote me the ticket anyway. I submitted the form for my dispute and then forgot all about it. A collection agency is chasing me for the fine now. What should I do?

Question: I'm curious about the act of brake checking a tailgater. Suppose a driver is following a vehicle closely (about 1 second distance), and the front vehicle is travelling below the municipal speed limit, maybe 35 to 40 km/h.

I live in Burnaby in a high-rise condo apartment near MetroTown and am very upset by the excessive noise from both motorcycles and cars that have obviously altered the vehicle from the manufacturer's specifications resulting in noise that can be heard for a kilometer or more away from my place. Motorcycles are the worst offenders.

There are no boxes filled out on the description of the defect portion of the ticket. My questions are where do I hand this ticket in and is this really that serious?

Question: Just wonder if you know if there is a minimum distance dumpsters can be from the side of the road? Does it work like it would for a car that must be parked within 12 inches of the curb? Should they be on the road at all?

My son was given a ticket for excess speed on Zero avenue. He received a cancelation notice and then was reserved by the same RCMP that staked out our house. If he beats the ticket in court, can he claim back the impound fees?

If a US resident comes to BC with his/her US licensed and insured vehicle to visit friends or family, is there a restriction about who can drive the vehicle?  Can a BC licensed driver operate the vehicle, and if so, does the owner of the vehicle have to be in the vehicle while it is being driven by the BC driver.

I am currently 14 months into the Novice Driver stage. I am concerned about having to restart my 24 Months if I get anymore points. I was issued a speeding ticket for doing 102 in a 70 zone.
