In Penticton there is a left hand turning lane from Fairview Road onto the Channel Parkway. Industrial Avenue intersects Fairview Road close to that intersection. Often if there is a line up of cars in the left hand turning lane, some will leave a space for cars to go through from Industrial onto Fairview. I wondered if this is what you are supposed to do or if this just makes it more dangerous because those passing through onto Fairview may not be able to see traffic from the other lane on Fairview.

I wonder if you would mind commenting on stopping at the side of the road to allow emergency vehicles to pass? So many times when I pull off to the edge of the road and stop, people either don't pull off or else they just pull onto the shoulder and travel at a low rate of speed.
The only thing I wanted for my 16th birthday was my driver's licence. My father took time off of work to drive me to what was then called the Motor License Office where I earned my learner driver's licence. It was a big day in my life, and marked a milestone in joining the world of the adult.
