Commercial Vehicle Safety and Enforcement (CVSE) has announced the availability of an updated version of the Carrier Safety Guide.

Question: Can you do an article on cars passing on the right? Especially when you are at an intersection on a two lane road and making a left turn. I have had cars whiz by me on the right because they were too impatient to wait.

This person was concerned about the number of human drivers that drive with their dogs riding in a position that might interfere with their control over the vehicle. They are correct, it's not a good idea, even with small dogs.

The Capital Regional District may implement a Speed Limit Reduction Pilot Project according to the CRD Traffic Safety Commission. These projects have been made possible through recent amendments to the Motor Vehicle Act and can be held for a 3 year period.

It's not yet zero tolerance for all drivers, but the B.C. government has enacted the Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) program, reducing the blood alcohol concentration (BAC) threshold for sanctions from 80 mg% to 50 mg%.
