Here is an example of how not to attach a trailer to a vehicle found on Highway 4 near Port Alberni. The connection for the breakaway brake is the cable dangling at the center of the picture. The end of this cable should be attached to the towing vehicle somewhere other than to the hitch itself, and definitely not to the safety chain. The aim of this device is to apply the trailer brakes in the event of the trailer accidentally disconnecting from the vehicle.

I live in Burnaby in a high-rise condo apartment near MetroTown and am very upset by the excessive noise from both motorcycles and cars that have obviously altered the vehicle from the manufacturer's specifications resulting in noise that can be heard for a kilometer or more away from my place. Motorcycles are the worst offenders.

I have received a ticket for disobeying license instructions over the weekend. I hold a Learners license, which alows me to drive with a supervisor of 25+ and with a valid class 5 license. At the time stopped I did not have a supervisor, and did not have my "L" sign displayed. This is my first offence.

I have been issued a notice and order box 3 for my tinted tail lights. It is just spray paint and the notice says "Replace tinted tail lights". There are no boxes filled out on the description of the defect portion of the ticket. My questions are where do I hand this ticket in and is this really that serious?

Just wonder if you know if there is a minimum distance dumpsters can be from the side of the road?

My son was given a ticket for excess speed on Zero avenue. He received a cancelation notice and then was reserved by the same RCMP that staked out our house. If he beats the ticket in court, can he claim back the impound fees?

Today's explosion in West Vancouver left a car barely recognizable, injured passers by and did damage to many nearby buildings. If a US resident comes to BC with his/her US licensed and insured vehicle to visit friends or family, is there a restriction about who can drive the vehicle?  Can a BC licensed driver operate the vehicle, and if so, does the owner of the vehicle have to be in the vehicle while it is being driven by the BC driver.

Fire trucks have a special privilege granted to no other emergency vehicle in British Columbia. You must not follow them within 150 meters or 500 feet unless you are also driving an emergency vehicle. Having never been a firefighter I was curious and thought that I would ask the experts and find out why this rule exists.

I was allegedly caught going 102 in a 70 zone but was charged with the lesser offense of 138 dollars which I have no problem paying / accepting, I am a first year Criminology student and I am intending on disputing the charges.
